GATE-2026 Information

Graduate Aptitute Test in Engineering (GATE) -2026 will be conducted by IIT Guwahati. For taking admission into Postgraduate, engineering course, you need to give GATE-2026, test. The notification will come in the official GATE website in the month July 2025. The Qualfied candidates, can apply for PSU recruitment process also. Total 30 subjects will be included, tentatively the registration process will commence from August -2026. Computer based test will be conducted, of three hours duration. The pattern comprises of MCQ (Multiple choice questions), Multiple Select questions (MSQ), and Numerical answer type questions (NAT), the marking is 100 marks. 10 questions will be of GA, and 55 subject based questions, total of 65. Negative marking will be there, for every wrong answer, 1/3 mark will be deducted.
